Floristic wire for wreaths 

Making wreaths becomes much easier when we have the right wire at our disposal. A straight wire can be used to create the base of the garland, which can be adjusted to the expected diameter or circumference of the head. In the case of wreaths for the door, table or wall, a metal ring can also be used. Which wire to choose for weaving a garland? You can use the green wire on the peg. This is the so-called technical wire. This means that it should be invisible in the prepared composition. A crimped wire will also be perfect, as it not only stabilizes the plant material, but also looks very aesthetically. We start making the garland by tying a loop of wire, which will facilitate further work. Then, in a circular motion, wrap the base of the wreath with wire, adding small bunches of flowers or greenery. Finally, we carefully tie the wire so that its sharp end does not injure the person who will have the wreath in his hand or on his head.

The floristic wire is a universal and extremely useful product, both in many forms of handicraft and in floristry. One of the techniques for working with wire is to create it. It means crimping and braiding the wire, thanks to which we obtain new, surprising forms. For example, a ruff, a net or decorative elements for a bouquet can be created from crocheted decorative wire. It will also be useful for modern and even abstract floral works. Experienced wire craftsmen can create beautiful jewelry, figurines or sculptures.
